Avenged Sevenfold Rocks Las Vegas & Visits KOMP
Warner Records rockers Avenged Sevenfold dropped in to visit KOMP/Las Vegas to formally announce an intimate pop up show in Las Vegas the following night, which was the band’s first show in 5 years! Thirty Tigers rockers Avatar recently rocked Los Angeles during their North American tour and had a chance to hang out with SiriusXM's Jose Mangin in the Pantera Limo that Jose restored. WYFM (Y-103)/Youngstown, OH Celebrates 'Alice Cooper Day'
On Saturday, April 29th, WYFM (Y-103)/Youngstown, OH celebrated "Alice Cooper Day" at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, OH, prior to Alice Cooper's sold-out show. Mahoning County Commissioners presented Cooper with a proclamation officially naming the day as "Alice Cooper Day," joined by Cumulus Media's Y-103 on-air hosts Fast Freddie and Sandra Miller. Y-103 presented Cooper with a custom-painted trash can in honor of his career. The trash can was painted by artist Keith Sturgeon, whose work is known and collected by celebrities in the automotive customizing and hotrod world, including comedian and car buff Jay Leno.
