My girlfriend Krista has Covid for the second time.
Her first round was intense. Fever, out of commission for a week, and less than a year later she has it again. She traced it back to a co-worker who knew they were sick and came to work anyway.
This time, she feels tired and has cold symptoms. Her workplace asked if she could still work from home, since she was feeling better than the last time. That was an inappropriate ask if you ask me - and in the classiest way possible, she politely passed and chose rest.
Covid is a part of our fabric now, and our demo thinks about it with every cough and sniffle and with every face mask she either wears or sees. It's a part of the conversation.
