Families with seniors in high school are feeling it deeply. All of the last times have become so real.
A mom named Ellen was scrambling eggs for her son’s breakfast a week before his high school graduation, tears were flowing from her face into the whipped yokes. Wasn’t he just sitting in a high chair eating dry Cheerios?
The final tests, ceremonies, and parties can’t drown out the years of memories that flood her heart. She’ll savor this ending, maybe attempt to stretch it out and she’ll try not to blink, again.
